BOU AVENUE
Skaha Bluffs
Evalyn Wood, Kelly Wood, and I did a short hike up to Skaha Bluffs near Penticton, B.C. on 13 April 2001.  As expected on a Good Friday holiday, the cliffs were crowded with rock jocks, and I was somewhat puzzled about the appeal of climbing in such a circus atmosphere.  At least none of them were superstitious considering that this was also Friday the 13th!  After observing the antics on the rocks for awhile, we turned off the beaten path and enjoyed a short but pleasant walk down the hillside overlooking Skaha Lake.
