Three Sisters Pass
On 26 May 2001, Dan Millar, Kelly Wood, and I hiked up to Three Sisters Pass near Canmore, Alberta.  The toughest part of the hike was getting past a small canyon that was choked with snow and avalanche debris.  With meltwater running beneath the snow, the canyon was treacherous to navigate and required a bit of scrambling to bypass it.  Despite the generally good weather, the pass was cold and windy.  Therefore, we passed up on exploring the nearby ridges and opted instead to have a quick lunch and return to our car.
Going up the creek...

There's nothing like good old Sapporo Ichiban!
Dan eats oriental noodles at the pass.
See the top of the peak behind me? I've been there!

Why can't these guys just pick a nice easy trail for a change?
