BOU AVENUE
Weekend In Panorama
Every spring since 2003, my close friends and I have gone on a weekend retreat either in Banff or Canmore, Alberta.  I organized the retreat this year and booked a spacious chalet near British Columbia's Panorama Ski Resort.  Ten of us spent the weekend of 23-25 March 2007 partying and relaxing in the chalet.
There is even free food in one of the cabinets. After arriving on Friday afternoon, Kelly Wood (sitting), Scott Warner, Marcella Pesiri, and Dan Millar socialize in the big kitchen.
Looks like they're already into the wine! Kelly, Joanne Francis, Dolly Carter, and Matt Leith enjoy some snacks at the dining table.
This is what you would wake up to if you slept in the sofa bed. This is "T-Bone".
This is what happens when bike couriers retire! Dan is obviously enjoying his beer.
Nice pink blanket! Scott Mair wakes up to the sound of rain on Saturday morning.
I haven't downhill skied in a long time, and my lack of endurance showed it! Despite the rain, the ski conditions are not bad on this day.
The snow was a bit thin in places, but there were still some good mogul runs here. Kelly heads for the Sun Bowl to check out some black diamond runs.
Gotta love private hot tubs! Sonny and Kelly relax in the chalet's private hot tub after a "hard day" on the ski slopes.
We had enough food for probably another week! Enjoying dinner are (clockwise from bottom left) Shelley Brunner, Marcella, Joanne, Matt, Kelly, Scott, Dan, and Scott.
You gotta know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, and know when to run! 'Cause you never count your money, when you're sittin' at the table. There'll be time enough for countin' when the dealin's done! Scott's chip stack is looking rather puny in this game of Texas hold 'em poker.
Dolly's going "all in"! Shelley feels the tension mounting as the bets increase while Dolly appears cool as ice.
I would strongly consider coming back here for a future vacation. The sun finally comes out on Sunday morning as the group prepares to leave the chalet.
