Rudzka Góra

Taking advantage of some sunny weather in Łódź, Poland on 26 December 2017, Zosia Zgolak and I walked about 3.6 kilometres (one-way) from her mother's apartment to a local hill known as Rudzka Góra. Various dirt trails criss-cross the hill, and a commercial toboggan track also runs over the summit. After enjoying views of the city from the summit, we dropped down to the base of the toboggan track and passed a restaurant called Bacówka u Józka where we met a very friendly cat. Once we had our fill of petting the cat, we simply headed back to the apartment where we later had tea and cakes with some friends of Zosia's family.
