• Name:  Sonny Bou
• Born in Taiwan
• Immigrated to Canada in 1971
• Sworn in as a Canadian citizen in 1976
• Graduated from Henry Wise Wood High School in 1986
• Obtained BSc in Biochemistry from University of Calgary in 1990

• Witnessed the last North American total solar eclipse of the 20th century in Winnipeg, Manitoba on 26 February 1979
• Has an autograph of James Watson, one of the co-discoverers of DNA structure
• Has been playing trombone and euphonium with the HMCS Tecumseh Naval Reserve Band since December 1988
• Visited Vladivostok, USSR and Hawaii, USA in 1990

• Real Sports (ie. no WWE soap operas, four-legged athletes, fishing poles, or nerdy kids trying to spell "chiaroscurist")
